Whiting Farms "Coq de Leon" Soft Hackle with Chicabou is one of the best natural dry fly tailing feathers available, but the bustard-like mottling also makes it perfect for wet fly tying and legging on nymphs. Whiting Farms is the only breeder of Coq de Leon roosters with original bird stock from the long-fabled Leon district of Spain.

Please know Chicabou is Whiting's trade name for feathers found on the breast and thighs of hen chickens. These fly tying hairs are smaller, finer and more delicate than turkey marabou.
